currently planing an extension to mid may.

Rephrase it as the national fashion museum. The show I saw when I visited was the Versaci show that had come from the V&A in London. Will be my biggest show of 2021.

GENOA

27 to May 31 2021 (denim Event) with my show going on longer

Working with Manuela Arata <manuela.arata@gmail.com> from the City Council. They are making events and annually to draw attention to the cities like to jeans (Gen-oa)

I feel an important part of my own story and looks like they have got the Ocean's Museum MUMA (Museums of Sea and Migration) to host it. It is just by where the events would be around jeans street. While not the contemporary art gallery I see angles to link to the denim history (because of the trade links of the sea) and also the more contemporary art world issues of immigration.

We are talking logistics and finance.

Venice Biennale

22 May 2021 and will run for 6 months until 21 November 2021.

I can see linking with Genoa as the weekend before.

In early discussions to show with the European Cultural Centre to show during the Venice Biennale of Architecture. They also do events during the Art Biennale too.

As discussed the financing is a little strange but if they support too with linking to Arts Council England for example (I have seen they have supported in the past)

Also there are many denim brands and suppliers in the region with ability to support, and contacts.

Awaiting more info.

Revolution Mill/Jeansboro

In talks with

Evan Morrison at Hudson Hill and the Mayor of Greensboro. The City known as Jeansboro. I already work with Cone Denim, who had the famous White Oak denim mill there, along with Wrangler, Lee, Avery Dennison who are based there.

My home area. I decided to pull the show as I feared they wouldn’t be able to meet my expectations as the gallery was being renovated as Covid effected it. Lucky, in hindsight it means Holland can be extended.

As mentioned it is the heart of the Textiles in the UK as well as the industrial revolution. I see opportunities to make it a centre and known internationally for Textile Art. I think using artists like myself and Benjamin we could create something special. Biennials and special events

In the area too is the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Internationally renowned. Would love for you to see if they could do something.

Levi Strauss Museum

The show went on last year and was great, however Covid effected numbers. They have talked about opportunities to go back to show again. I see ways of thinking of linking with Levi in San Fran.

Over the years over a hundred denim brands and mills and other suppliers have approached. Of course others have also, but a small percentage compared to denim. I worked with Ray Ban in 2014 to launch the.. you guessed it.. denim Wayfarer. Since the previous year I have been on off with Pepe Jeans London. Click through to see options and ideas.
