Ian Berry x Pepe Jeans London

The heart of Pepe Jeans London is denim. It goes without saying. And it's at the heart of artist Ian Berry's work, too. "I basically use denim as my paint," describes the artist, who's made a career out of turning jeans into works of art, sifting through their very many shades to create a tonal palette that brings to life ordinary scenes into extraordinary indigo-incarnated vistas.

Over the last few years Pepe Jeans London have been so kind to donate many pairs of jeans to help with Ian's creations. Ian himself has admitted that they have improved his work and broadened what he is able to achieve, simply with only denim, No paint, no bleach.

As he is a London based artist, it is a great match with the brand that started in 1973 on Portobello Road in West London. Here is a little filmed the made together earlier in the year produced by Spring.
